Utilizing a fan-ducted ventilation system, the airflow generated by the fan creates positive pressure inside the duct, enabling forced ventilation. This system allows for the regulation of the greenhouse interior environment, achieving ventilation, cooling, and uniform airflow objectives. It creates a greenhouse environment conducive to plant growth, enhancing the uniformity of airflow and temperature and humidity around the crop root zone.
Compared to greenhouses without ducted ventilation systems, this approach reduces the number of roof vents and their opening frequency. It also decreases the quantity of mechanical ventilation systems, thereby reducing energy consumption, improving resource utilization, and lowering costs.

For rack-mounted cultivation troughs, the duct diameter should not exceed the distance between two supporting legs.
